Position: National Sales Manager

Spokeworks is looking for a dynamic and energised national sales manager with a passion for cycling! If you can help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, by keeping our company competitive and innovative, and at the same time ‘speak bike’ we want you to join our Pretoria-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the sales team potential
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategy in the cycling and motorcycle industries to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence in existing markets
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and forecasts to the management team
  • Manage, coach and monitor sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Pro-actively identify new markets and product opportunities
  • Ensure timely and effective servicing of customer base and specific client needs
  • Identify market shifts r and stay up to date with new product launches with ongoing real-time marketing research and analysis
  • Travelling for the business to make daily dealer visits and sales


  • Relevant marketing degree or diploma
  • usiness related IT skills, including Microsoft
  • Passion for cycling (this is a must!)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience (industry experience would be beneficial)
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as within a sales team
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from beginning to end
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Own car and valid driver’s licence

Salary and benefits:
